I am preparing to teach an Introduction to Biblical Interpretation class in the fall (if you’re interested, the link is here<\/a>) and a friend sent this to me which I found applicable not only in the world of biblical interp, but also, generally. \u00a0Modern culture says words are social constructs that do not have inherent meaning, only the meaning that is given by the reader (which is absurd by any estimation). \u00a0Of course, one who adheres to this type of relativism only adheres to it until it is their<\/em> words!<\/p>\n
