Timothy Keller, founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC, has stage four Pancreatic cancer. That’s not news—he’s been talking about it for some time. He has also been candid that he’s aware his time left here is limited.
I greatly appreciate his honest hope in the midst of suffering and the reality of physical death. Its “honest hope” because his words are encouraging while not sanitized. He speaks of sadness and tears undergirded by eternal confidence.
In this short video, Keller reminds us that no matter what this world is going through or what struggles or concerns we’re dealing with, it’s going to be ok. One important reality assures it. I hope you’re encouraged, as well.
“What would you say to a young Christian who’s nervous about the future?” @DrMoore asks @TimKellerNYC.
